Adorable!
This is the first time I (as a 30 year old) have ever owned a dollhouse -- granted the house is a gift for my 2 daughters (ages 3 and 5) -- I was so excited to open the box and get everything assembled! The shipping was incredibly fast and the box and contents arrived in perfect condition. Everything about this house is just perfect -- from the weight, to the easy assembly, to the detailing. My daughters we SO EXCITED to jump right-in and begin playing -- they oooh'd and awe'd over all the little rooms and movable pieces. I know they will enjoy this for many years, and it is quality enough that their kids can enjoy it eventually too!

Absolutely adorable!
My daughters (1 and 3) have absolutely loved playing with their dollhouse! It is the perfect size for them. My youngest enjoys sitting in front of the house and moving all the furniture around from one section of the house to the next. The furniture detail is so cute and very well built, my 3 year old squealed when she saw the bunk bed and the ladder. I especially like the open and close feature when it's time for clean up. The assembly was fairly easy especially with the color-coded hardware, very nice touch. It took me a little over an hour to assemble. I am very impressed by the high quality material and the construction of the house. Definitely would recommend this!

My Daughter LOVEs this house!
We got this really quick after ordering. It sat in the entry way for days before we could find the time to put it together. Luckily Ava cant read yet so didn't know what was sitting there ;) Finally one night we sat down with a glass of wine, a couple screwdrivers, and three very curious kittens (okay one of those kittens was Ava ;). We opened the box and began to unpack its contents. At this point Ava is stoked. She unwrapped all the furniture while we laid out the structures pieces. My husband and I tag teamed putting together the different sections of the house. It took right around an hour. Some of the pieces did not line up perfectly. And some of the decorative laminate is already peeling at the edges. But not extremely and otherwise this house is so adorable I wish I had a life sized one :) Ava loves it and plays with her small animals, ponies, & dinosaurs inside :) I love the size, its not too big, but big enough for her and her friend to play in it at the same time. I personally like the chandelier and chicken rug ;) Thanks Auntie Lauren and uncle Dan!

Wonderful addition to creative play time!
This is a really attractive dollhouse, with great value. The inclusion of all the dollhouse furniture is a great aspect of this product, and helps really bring value to it right out of the box - it kept my 3 yr old busy while waiting for the house to be assembles. The furniture is simple, yet nice, and durable. I am a big fan of the hardware being separated in individual trays with letter identification. Perforated cardboard back was easy to punch out. It took about 2.5 hours to build, with kids trying to play with the pieces. Was not very challenging, only requires a Philips Screwdriver and the provided little wrench. The different color hardware was a nice touch to blend in with the decorative house exterior. This is a big upgrade form our plastic Fisher Price house. My daughter has many "friends" from Fisher Price Disney princesses, Doc McStuffins figurines, Sophia the First figurines, and more - Abbey Manor dollhouse is plenty big enough for everyone! As a parent, I really love how the house can open and close. When its time to clean up my daughter puts all of her "friends" to sleep inside of the house, closes the roof and the side panel, and moves the porch up against the house. If it were "open" all the time she may have a harder time ending her play time. We have a 1 yr old son and he is always interested in what his big sister is up to. This dollhouse is big enough for both kids to play and not feel overcrowded.

Very nice once assembled!
Love the doll house... however directions for assembly were not always clear. Biggest complaint...I Had to reorder the hinge for the top floor twice! It was locked and the instructions for it were zero to none! Please rewrite your assembly instructions. Granddaughter age 5 does love it once it was done.

A little disappointed....
We bought the KidKraft Firehouse for our grandson several years ago. That has been wonderful and has stood up well to daily play. So, we immediately went to KidKraft to purchase a dollhouse for our granddaughter....as she was using her brother's firehouse for her dolls, when he wasn't around. Abbey Manor seemed just right for a 2 1/2 year old. But, it's just not the same quality as the firehouse. It was our fault that we didn't start to put it together until three days before Christmas. However, it was missing parts that we now have to wait for, including the hinge for the roof. And, lots of the pieces of the house are chipped. Not too noticeable, but if we had opened it sooner, we would have sent it back. I'm sure she'll be thrilled with it, when it's finally complete, but I don't think it will stand up to the kind of play that the firehouse has.

Cute dollhouse but a few craftsmanship issues
Cute dollhouse. I think our 5 year old daughter will love it. Only complaints are that a lot of the parts that need to be screwed together are not flush so gaps are left. And our latch for the roof was also in a locked position. After reading other comments, we turned it upside down and pushed the ends together to "unlock" it, but it's still too stiff. Other than that, it's a good buy I think.

Perfect dollhouse!!
My grand daughters have loved playing with this very well made dollhouse. The contents are packaged where putting it together is an easy step by step process. It took me about 3 hours (although the time was because of mistakes on my end) but is so worth the time! I highly recommend!!
